Training Course
The project « Cre8 Jobs » is dedicated to the topic of entrepreneurship, where youth workers and youth leaders get opportunity to learn more about this concept, and also to find ways to create innovative business ideas and make them come true.
This training is a follow-up of our first youth exchange made in October 2014 and that became a success. As the continuation of the topic, we would like to change a little the focus of this project and instead of dealing with young people directly, we would like to target youth workers and youth leaders that will gain new competences in order to work with young people afterwards about the topic of entrepreneurship. This training brought to Luxembourg City 36 youth workers from Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Macedonia, Poland, Estonia and Italy.
One of the main aims of EU Youth Policy is promoting youth entrepreneurship, as well as one of the eight key competencies so via this project we tended to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit amongst young people. Youth leaders helped young people to make decisions for themselves and work on their future. Creating new ground for innovative business ideas by the proactive young minds is considered as one of the key factors of future development and we gave the tools to the NGO representatives that came together in this training in order to achieve this in their daily life.
« Cre8 Jobs » is designed to encourage young leaders themselves to become entrepreneurs, as well as to pass this knowledge to their peers. Since young people possess numerous skills and knowledge, we also consider that through this project they will be able to express their creativity in all fields that interest them. Enhancing the creation of innovations in the fields of art, sport, science and technology or in the NGO field was one of the main goals of the entire project initiative. Youth leaders and youth workers had a task to look at many elements related to entrepreneurship and find out more how to introduce young people to this process of creating innovativebusiness solutions. Entrepreneurship is the key factor of economic development in the 21st century and consequently to this, youth leaders present at this training had the opportunity and the responsibility to research more about entrepreneurship, business cycles, business opportunities, innovative ideas, leadership, management techniques etc .
Young entrepreneurs nowadays create jobs for themselves, and for other people. With this project we would like to point out that young people should work more on their business ideas and make them a reality. By this, we consider that young people learnt more about the path to successful future and open opportunities. The training also involved meetings and discussions with distinguished entrepreneurs from Luxembourg who met the participants and transferred their experience and knowledge to the young minds who attended the project.
Since this is a training, the youth workers and leaders were able to work with a special methodology designed for the project and elaborated the topic of Entrepreneurship through discussions and reflection workshops, simulation games, practical exercises, case studies, etc.
Through this project we also presented the Erasmus + program.
